Topic: Coping Skills – Learn how to handle overwhelming & stressful situations

Dawn Cerruto, LCSW I have been a Mental Health clinician over 15 years with experience licensed in NJ. The past 10 were spent doing crisis work for a non-profit CBHCare which treats those who have severe mental health such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and those who are very depressed or anxious and some who are homeless or have addiction. I am also a member of American association of kidney patients, AKF American Kidney Fund, and I advocate whenever possible for organ donation sharing my transplant story. I am also a volunteer with my OPO NJ Sharing Network. I love cooking, writing, travel, painting, eating out, spending time with my husband. I have used stressful life experiences before and after kidney disease to learn coping skills that I now can share with others. Age 25 my kidneys were failing and age 26 I started dialysis and received my transplant 3 years later. 9/6/2000. I have spent about half my life with kidney disease. I grateful every day for the gift of life from Meraida my donor and my donor family.

This meeting will be beneficial for all, invite your caregivers and family members.
